The St. Johns County school district was honored with the “2007 What Parents Want” Award, given to just 16 percent of the nation’s school districts. Verbal and math SAT scores are above the state and national average, as are the district’s ACT scores.

Private and public schools are nearby, including Mill Creek Elementary, Wards Creek Elementary, Pacetti Bay Middle School and Nease High School. Excellent colleges in the area include Flagler College in St. Augustine’s historic district, the University of North Florida, Florida Community College at Jacksonville and Jacksonville University. The Neighborhoods of World Golf Village are just one hour away from the University of Florida in Gainesville and three hours from Florida State University in Tallahassee.
